Painting Services in Paiute Nation
A fresh coat means a fresh start. New paint can improve property value, but perhaps more importantly, it can make a space more inspiring, a place more personal. This is why our Brush Brothers team takes such pride in our painting services. We want to offer people a sense of home through the paint they choose.
When the Going Gets Tough
Painting on drywall or wood is a piece of cake. Certainly, there is an art to applying the paint evenly and staying within the lines, but as a general rule, regular painting services don’t present a challenge. That is not true with painting on brick, stucco, or cinder block.
While many homes are made of hardy wood, many others, especially in the harsh climate of the desert, are not. Brick, stucco, and cinder block are other common building materials for homes and commercial buildings. None of these materials present a smooth surface eager for a paint job, so it takes the proper tools and an experienced hand to make sure painting them is done properly.
When we provide painting services of this kind, we use a flexible coating that expands and contracts to fill all the nooks and crannies. This aspect of painting stucco or brick has an added bonus: the paint works as a seal to keep out moisture. This will extend the longevity of your concrete or brick.

Paiute Nation Painting
In 1980, the Paiute Nation in southern Utah received the rightful restoration of their Federal Recognition by an act of Congress. The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah Restoration Act established the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah as the federally recognized Tribe and renewed the federal trust relationship with the Tribe. This was a boon to the Paiute people which, by the end of 2021, numbered 920 souls spanning five constituent bands.
The Cedar Band of Paiute Indians have their headquarters in Cedar City. They are known as the Suh’dutsing. Like the “Cedar People,” The Indian Peaks Band of Paiute Indians have their headquarters in Cedar City. These “Peak People,” the Kwee’choovunt have landed in Beaver County. The Kanosh Band of Paiute Indians are also based in Cedar City, though the Kawnaw’os or “Willow Jug People“ also have another office in Kanosh, near the site of their traditional ancestral home.
The Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah is made up of two more bands: the Koosharem Band of Paiute Indians and the Shivwits Band of Paiutes. The former, the Paw goosawd’uhmpuhtseng or “Water Clover People” base their band in Richfield. The latter, the See’veetseng, has headquarters in Ivins. The lands of the “Whitish Earth People” are in Washington County. Together the Paiute Nation spreads across Washington, Millard, Iron, and Sevier counties on ten separate parcels of land.
